Urbana, IL (News-Gazette)—Annie Adams, said she is in favor of a 10-cent bag tax “to reduce plastic bags in our community” and help subsidize recycling services.

“We will also need a robust outreach campaign informing residents, educating retailers, and collaborating with student sustainability groups on reusable bag drives,” she added.
