Annie Adams Endorsed by Former Champaign County Executive Darlene Kloeppel

Urbana, IL—Urbana, IL—Annie Adams is pleased to announce the endorsement of former Champaign County Executive Darlene Kloeppel. She served as the executive from 2018-2022. 

Kloeppel believes that Annie Adams is the candidate most ready to take on the duties of the Mayor’s office.

“The Urbana mayor meets daily challenges to assure all essential city services are delivered for its residents. These responsibilities require careful listening and competent management, analysis and communication skills, as well as a developed understanding of the complicated web of legal, financial and human resources available to actually get things done.” Kloeppel wrote in a prepared statement. 

“The choice for Urbana's mayor is being made now - please vote for Annie Adams as the candidate who has experience with Urbana's way of doing business and has articulated some practical strategies to address pressing issues that will face all residents in our city in the next four years,” Kloeppel concluded. 

Annie Adams has also been endorsed by Urbana Mayor Diane Marlin, former state representative Naomi Jakobsson, Urbana’s police officers, Chair of Urbana’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission Audrey Ishii, and community safety advocate Cynthia Hoyle.
